It is our intention to provide a free lending center for medical and rehabilitation equipment for residents of Anderson, Oconee and Pickens County. This program provides a needed service to local area residents while expanding the availability of volunteer opportunities for members of the Anderson Lights of Hope program. DISCLAIMER: For assessments and/or recommendations regarding your medical equipment needs, please consult your rehabilitation professional. Policy Notice: Before lending out equipment, a liability form must be signed by the individual who will be using the medical equipment. Exceptions will only be made for individuals with power of attorney. |

Many residents in our area are faced with the problem of not being able to afford medical equipment needed for home health care or may only need a piece of equipment for a short period of time. Some residents, on the other hand, have medical equipment at home and no longer have a use for it. To bridge this gap, the Loan Closet has been established to function as a clearinghouse for donated medical equipment available for temporary use. |

This service is provided free of charge to all residents of Anderson, Pickens and Oconee County. The Loan Closet stores and maintains the equipment, operates a call center for receiving and processing equipment donations and requests for equipment from community members, and provides home pick-up and delivery of equipment. The Loan Closet also provides referrals to other community agencies for related services as needed |
