Official Totals to Date: To set up the park this year volunteers put in over 3683.62 hours. Thank you for all your hard work. |

Official: Snow was reported and confirmed falling at Darwin Wright Park on December 1, 2008 at 3:18pm by several volunteers. |
|
Official: Visitors and volunteers have consumed 344 gallons of hot chocolate. |
|
Official: Visitors and volunteers have consumed 1,246 Gingerbread Men made by the Hanna Westside Ext Campus Culinary Class. |
|
Official: 553 lbs of food was donated to the Clemson Community Care. 2 Car Trunk loads of food donated to Anderson Interfaith Ministries. |
|
Official: 20 suitcases and 10 blankets were donated to the Foster Children Program in Anderson County. |
|
Official: 45 toys were donated to the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots Program, and 12 toys to the Denny’s Toys for Tots Drive |

Official: 11.5 boxes of 300 candy canes were handed out by Santa at the Santa Lodge. |
|
Official: We had 20 days of rain out of the 29 days of the 2008 operation season. |
|
Official: It took 26 days to set up at Darwin Wright Park. It took 4 days to take it down. |

Official: Over $21,000 in cash, toys, food and other items donated in 2008. |

Official: It takes 9 meter stations to run Lights of Hope. We use 15.7 miles of drop cords. |

· Anderson Speech and Hearing - $2,064.77 · S&C Snuggables Inc - $1,598.11 plus stuffed animals now being used by local police, EMS and fire departments · Living Without Limits - $2,613.62 · Cancer Association of Anderson - $1,979.66 · Anderson Interfaith Ministries - $1,015.51 and two car trunk loads of food · Hope Ministries of Oconee County - $1,197.48 · Camp Care of Boulevard Baptist Church, Anderson - $1,643.60, (this is a new group to Anderson ) · Clemson Habitat for Humanity - $1,508.59 · McCants Beta Club - $1,278.90 · Anderson Free Clinic - $1,174.00
Besides the money, some groups benefited from items donated at the Lights of Hope front gate:
· Clemson Community Center - 553 lbs of food · Dept. of Social Services - Foster Care - 20 Suitcases and 10 blankets · U.S. Marine Toys for Tots Drive - 45 toys · Denny's of Anderson Toys for Tots Drive - 12 toys
