2008 Benefiting CharitiesText Box: DESCRIPTION OF EVENT
“Lights of Hope” will conduct the annual drive-through holiday light show in Anderson on the shores of Lake Hartwell. Volunteers erect light displays that magically transform Darwin Wright Park into a family oriented, Christmas light spectacular. Displays may be animated, such as waving Santa or dancing ballerina. Reindeer, toy trains, wreaths, angels and snowmen will delight the young and young at heart.

Our prime target for attendance will be visitors from a 150-mile radius bringing cars, vans and buses full of children, adults and seniors into Anderson during the holiday season. Local businesses and community groups will sponsor light displays. Artistic placement of lights, music, and distinctive print materials promise to make the light fantasy a special holiday treat.
