Lights of Hope
Lights of Hope
The Anderson Lights of Hope annual light display has become a regional attraction during the Holiday season. Many visitors average 5 visits to ‘Lights of Hope’ and the arrangement of the lights changes every year.
It has become a tradition in many families for many years. Using over 3.5 million light bulbs Anderson lights of Hope volunteers turn the Darwin Park into a fantasy of lights, enchanting for all ages. The park hosted thousands of visitors and hopes to increase that number in 2012.
The 2012 proceeds donated to local area charities from this event, including the additional donations of toys, blankets, eye glasses, cell phones helped make it possible for hundreds of children and adults in the Anderson community to receive life-changing services.
Visit our Santa’s Village, where you will see Santa Claus and his helpers.
Have your photo made with him and Mrs. Claus. Visitors have a choice of many photo packages that include a CD of all of the photos taken. Cash, Debit or Credit. $5 for a 4x6 print or $15 for a CD with all the poses.
See Mr. Twisters the Elf, he is the greatest balloon artist.
Stop by Mrs Claus’ Kitchen and enjoy Hot Chocolate, Gingerbread Men, Popcorn, Smores and other holiday favorites. Mrs. Claus never charges more than $1.00 per item.
